AC Milan is widely being tipped as this year winner of UEFA Champions League by many footballing experts and looks like they are not wrong. Playing in a pressure situation away from home against the formidable Bayern Munich and that too without striker Ronaldo, they defeated Bayern Munich 2-0 to book semi final place. This victory means that AC Milan will now face in-form Manchester United who thrashed Roma 7-1 not so long ago.

Coming to the match, first leg score was tied at 2-2 and all the work needed to be done by the Milan side because draw was enough for the Bayern Munich to move to the next round. But top-notch side such as AC Milan does not succumb to pressure that easily. They started admirably and all through out the match Milan looked hungry for the goal. Clarence Seedorf scored the first goal for AC Milan when his shot was just too good for Munich goal keeper Oliver Kahn. Veteran striker Filippo Inzaghi sealed the match with a brilliant finish.
